We are
thrilled to share that GIG- Egypt recently hosted a transformative 2-day
training program for “Middle Management” in collaboration with UN Women and the
Community Hub and It is worth noting that GIG-Egypt has been a signatory to the
Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) since 2022. This initiative is a
testament to our unwavering commitment to women empowerment and gender
equality, which are an integral component of our broader ESG efforts. The
purpose of this training is to equip the managers with the necessary skills and
tools for successful gender-sensitive leadership, while allowing them to adopt
effective communication strategies with the diverse pool of talent at GIG
Insurance Egypt, in addition to helping them understand the different methodologies
of building the capacity of employees while applying a gender lens. Through
this training, we aim to present the tools and practices that promote equality
and address the barriers and challenges to women’s access to equal job
opportunities.
